First Grade Families,
My name is Samantha Pollino and I am delighted to be your child's 1st-grade teacher at Ronald Reagan Elementary School. I was raised in Corona and attended all of my school years in the public school system. CNUSD provided me with such a phenomenal experience to broaden my interests with sports, clubs, and academic subjects. I dreamed of being an elementary school teacher from the age of four and I have never deviated from this plan. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Cal State San Bernardino, a Master of Science Education at Cal Baptist University, and a Reading and Literacy Added Authorization to my Teaching Credential at UC San Diego. I had the pleasure of teaching 1st grade in Ronald Reagan Elementary's inaugural year and I am looking forward to year six!
In my personal life, I love to spend time with family, friends, and my two dogs, Cali and Chevy. I enjoy hiking, traveling the world, watching sports, and going to the river. I have a friendly, positive, and caring personality. I aspire to develop young minds, cultivate life-long learners, and impact the future of society. I just plain and simply love teaching, being surrounded by students of all ages, and working with the amazing and talented teachers and staff of Ronald Reagan Elementary School in Eastvale.
